Hi there! My name is Cara, I’m a mosaic artist based in the CA Bay Area. Thank you for taking the time to view my work and learn a little about the artist.

In 2024 I was working full time as a software engineer and AI was booming. I was spending 8 hours a day building software for corporate America and I was miserable. I began teaching myself to make mosaics in my free time to fill the creative void in my life. Posting my work online changed everything. Seeing the support for my mosaics from the art community made me realize I can actually create things that are meaningful. The career change was unexpected and terrifying but I have loved every minute of it. I am so incredibly grateful that I get to create art everyday and I truly believe it is some the most worthwhile work I could be doing, especially in today’s world. So thank you to the community who have made this possible for me, your support is truly everything.
